Vision for the Future

In 2006, the Dayspring School Board resolved to begin the steps required to secure a permanent home for the school.  Subsequent resolutions were made to develop the vision and plans for a school facility and campus, and to launch a capital campaign in order to provide the funds required to complete it.

The proposed campus will include an 87,000 sq foot facility built in the federal style architecture that reflects both the American tradition and the enduring nature of classical Christian education.  The state of the art facility is designed to support the philosophy, curriculum, and methodology of Principle Approach education.  Plans include separate lower school and upper school wings, a central library and technology-media center, a PIAA standard gymnasium, a 500-seat auditorium, “smart” classrooms, and a beautiful “open-sky” atrium for special school and community events.

Our new campus will have soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, outdoor basketball courts, and a track. The building itself will have two classrooms per grade, a full cafeteria, gymnasium, science and biology labs, a computer lab, music and art rooms, and ample space for administrative offices.  It will be both environmentally savvy and friendly—in keeping with the biblical Christian mandate of stewardship of the world over which God has given man dominion.

In the immediate years ahead, Dayspring Christian Academy is committed to fulfilling its mission through continuing growth in academic excellence, and the development and refinement of the fine arts program and the athletic program.

Our long-term goal is to participate in developing a Principle Approach college that specializes in preparing future teachers in Principle Approach philosophy methodology, either adjacent to the school or on a separate campus. We are excited about Dayspring’s future as we keep our eyes focused on the Lord to guide our steps and provide for our needs.
